my opinion :

1. use 2 red ball
2. touch with each other
3. use the cue ball (white ball) to pot the red ball & make the other red
ball enter into the socket.
4. try make different angle with two red ball touch with each other.
5. sure the angle, put the red ball (in front of you) out of the table.
6. now, you pot only one red ball but remember the same point before.
7. you are expert right now !!!
