The condition here is very damp, even I make deep screw back shots, the cue ball will not move too far. The rotation of cue ball is very fast at the first few second, but the rotation stops very fast, and it cause the cue ball to stop soon.

I want to know what kind of cue will be easier to play back spin and top spin?
Light cue or Heavy cue?
Small tip size or Big tip size?
Slim cue or Thick cue?
etc...

I know different people has different feel on shots, it is really difficult to say this or that is the best for spin. But I hope I can have some advice or recommandation from different kinds of player.

Thank you very much.

I think a slimmer shaft will produce more spin. The reason is because it has more flex or whip which means that the shaft will bend more at impact and the tip will stay in contact with the cue ball longer and produce more spin. Also a larger tip size will help grip the cue ball more.
