and i'm glad to give you some advice if you think will help your snooker game...but for now it's impossible for me to coach you without a snooker table...coz this could take me years to typing out on the web about what i'm learned and what i'm able to do in the game of snooker...

Hi,I'm a new member but I always read all the messages here. Although my recent highest break was only around 28-35 but I actually did played 64 once back a few years ago which is still my highest break so far. I played 7 blacks and 1 pink and then when I put another red in and aimed for the pink I almost also got it in to continue the break but it went "jor jui". What a pity . . . I wonder what will the break be if I had that pink in???
I have been playing snooker for quite sometime but I stopped playing it for a few years and only last year I tried to pick up this game seriously again because I am still very fond of it but I don't think I can play any better . . . I hope someone could practise with me and give me some guidance for improvement. |

Humm.....my highest break was 48.
I made this score about a year ago. At that time, I was too nervous and excited. I missed a easy shoot.....then.....very regret.... |

Mine 49 and that was 2 years ago. I had 3 times 43 last year which I lost position when getting on the black. Been working hard to get my first half century. |

I totally agreed with what cueboy said. I came from NZ and there're a lot of good players that hit a few centuries day in and day out. One of them Chris McBreen, I saw him hitting 2 centuries in New Zealand snooker open to go on winning it 3 years ago. About 2 weeks ago, I saw his name worldsnooker.com on the Regal Welsh qualifier and was beaten 1-5 in the first round. U have to play 4-5 rounds in order to qualify and that's how tough it is in the professional circuit. If u qualify for a ranking tournament then u're already someone. My coach hits over hundred times of centuries and 2 times 147 and a champion in Austria and still can't qualify for a professional tournament. That's how tough it is. Hard work isn't enough to be top. Ronnie hit 147 when he was 13 years old. Many ppl play snooker for 20 years and never get a century. |
